Special Recipe: Shrimp Scampi with Linguini and Asparagus

Learn how to cook and prepare this delicious Shrimp Scampi with Linguini pasta and asparagus. Yields 4 servings.


1 pound linguini pasta

24 Prawns 16-20 or any size

2 cups Heavy cream

1/2 stick of butter or 4 Tbs

1 Tbs fresh ground garlic

2 lemons

3 oz Chardonnay or any white wine of your choice

10 Large Asparagus

1/2 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Parsley to decorate

Procedure: Place a pan over low to medium heat. Melt the butter and garlic and mix. Add in the prawns and sauté on both sides. Add in just enough salt and pepper to taste. Juice two lemons and stir. Pour in your choice of white wine, we chose Chardonnay. Mix in your washed and cut asparagus. Add in the heavy cream and mix. Next is the linguini pasta then mix. Incorporate parmesan cheese into the pan. Sprinkle in some parsley. Mix until everything is well combined and heated up. Place pasta onto 4 plates to serve. Top off with parsley to decorate. And done! A perfect plate of shrimp scampi ready to enjoy. Happy Cooking!
